What you need to bring: Subcompact or “Backup Gun” style Pistol or Revolver , at least 2 spare pistol magazines and at least 150 rounds of pistol ammo. Revolvers are welcome if you want to party like it is 1899. Eye Protection and ear protection, carry gear,  weather appropriate clothing, snacks and drinks.

We will be covering a sampling of pistol skills from touching distance out to 25 yards (and maybe farther) using the guns people tend to really carry- small autos or revolvers. This will not only give you a contextual understanding of different shooting methods, but when to use them and why. We will cover everything from retention shooting in close contact with the target (using plastic mannequin like targets) to shooting, 2 handed retention / point shooting at 2 to 3 arms length from the target and precision pistol shooting all the way out to 25 yards on falling steel and we will shoot some qualification drills to give you an idea of just how effective you can be with your “carry a lot but only shoot a little” type guns.

And just a final reminder EVERYONE is welcome ! The TN/GA/AL Training Group started as a way for alumni of classes taught by Randy Harris to get together and stay current on skills and get some coaching in a one day format at a discounted price from what a normal class would cost. As it continued to grow we opened it up to ANYONE who is interested in coming out and learning some skills and just seeing what it is that we do and meet some new people with the same interests. So even if you are not an alum of one of my classes you are welcome to join us !
